The Project

Ok, here's the thing. I'm determined to have a project. This time, I'm going to have it done!

Project chosen: to draw wayang. A serial.

I will have the pics posted here. But now, I have to learn the characters first.

the day the pizza was found

It was a day of having to struggle with.. a bunch of manic people at a concert. But anyhow it turned out to be such a pleasant night. We finally decided to go for pizza, after a whole afternoon going around town. The pizza place was small, but the pizza was good. Quite ok.. or was it because we were starving?

We saw a circus playing. It excited me just to see the tent. I really wanna see the circus! Too bad it's closed already :( Oh well. I wish to see the local one before I see Cirque Du Soleil. Amen.

food fest

The weather has been very nice these days. It's been raining for several days and it's been quite cold I had to put on my jacket, turtleneck, and stockings. Yay, I kinda like it actually. The sky is clearer, I think it's very nice when you can see the blue sky at noon and the stars at night.

It was Ied Adha day. The goat and cow slaughtering day. But it's also the family get together time. My parents, siblings, and I visited grandma & grandpa and ate ketupat. No goat meat involved, only chicken. There was lapis lagit cake served on the table also. But we were too stuffed and still saving place for another food. So, we're off to see my uncle and aunt. We were given, again, pleasant food. Joy.

Aaand.. those food fiesta weren't finished yet for the day. I was invited for a birthday dinner at a friend's house. We were fed with fat. Delicious ones. Fetuccini, meatballs, pancakes, puddings. And wine. I still prefer mineral water though :)
But overall, it was good. The food was splendid. We had best times.

there are times

when..
elephants are more interesting than human beings.
the way whales sings make you fabulously astounded.
how horse run makes you feel alive.
you found facts that flies have super micro eyes and it's wow-ing you.
you see the similarity between yourself and a beaver.
you just couldn't sleep thinking why the almighty had chosen you to be human, not animals, creatures, or other micro beings that eyes can't see.

those are the times when your brain collides with heart and soul.
